What am I doing in Romania anyway?

A lot of people ask me, "What are you doing in Romania? Who do you work with? Who's your target audience?" Well, we as volunteers work with children who are "put aside". It is interesting to notice the contrast between the suburb of the city of Reșița and the center, for example. Many of these children live in conditions that "we" are not used to. It is a constant challenge to teach these children something, we note that sometimes some rules are not fulfilled by them. But at the end of the day when we perform activities with them, it's interesting to realize that they can absorb something. There's a lot that needs to be changed in the education of these children, fortunately, all of us volunteers can always change the lives of these children a bit.
